Look at all of these cute pets in their Halloween costumes! A couple of pet costume contests are already in the works for the Halloween holiday weekend:

The Shelby County Humane Society is organizing a Halloween costume contest for pets this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Riverchase Galleria. The contest will benefit homeless pets in the Shelby County Humane Society.

The Humane Society of Etowah County is planning a pet parade in downtown Gadsden as well as a costume contest. The "Howl-O-Weenie Pawty" kicks off at 9 a.m. and the parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
