Gas prices drop under $3 in some Ala. cities
Gas prices are starting to dip just below $3 in some areas of Alabama, including the town of Sumiton on the Walker/Jefferson County line, where a gas price of $2.99 was spotted Thursday afternoon.
As of Friday, a couple gas stations in the Sumiton and Dora areas are still selling gas at $2.99 according to the gas price finder on www.MyFoxAl.com.
